Article Design

We get the requirement via Drawings or Layout or Physical sample or concept. We make 3d models and assembly of Injection molded parts. We approve design from customer.

Prototype

We prepare prototype with 3d Printer and assemble all components if required. 3D printer helps us to make rapid prototype of any engineering Injection molded parts

Mold Design

We Design the Mold in latest 3d cad software based on customer's requrement. It depends factors like Life cycle of article, Lot Size, Material, Runner and ejector locations for injection molded parts.

We manufacture the Mold in house to control the critical aspects of mold. We have full control on the mold from design to manufacturing for quick and faster of all Injection molded parts.

Production

After receiving approval from customer, we manufacture components in injection molding machines. We keep the molds under our control and maintain the mold for desired life cycle.

Mold ManufacturingProcesses

As a part of the complete solution of Injection molded parts, it is very important to understand the processes involved in it. This clears understand that the complete process of Injection molded parts design and development is time taking and cannot be done parallel. As we have all the facilities in house, that helps to build the mold in tight schedules including trial and testing of the article.
Mold Block plates

Raw Material Machining

Raw material of the Mold is most important. Based on the selection of the mold, life of the Mold is calculated. Hardness, strength, corrosion resistance are main parameters for selection of mold material.

Enclosure Mold Machining

Milling and Turning

Milling and turning is done on the raw material to form the mold cavity and punch. Surface finish and tight tolerances within 10 microns are needed some time for critical and butting components.

Drilling and Tapping

Once the mold form is ready, Drilling and Tapping for mold clamping and cooling is done on the mold plates. Based on the machine specifications, we provide mountings in the mold in both metric and imperial.

EDM for Injection molding enclosures

EDM and Spark

When geometry is not feasible with our VMC CNC machines, we have to use EDM techniques to form the critical geometry. This often creates higher surface roughness and need fine polishing afterwards.

Ruff Polishing

Once all machining and EDM operations done, ruff polishing is required prior to trial of injection molding. This helps to release the component from the mold Punch and cavity. Polishing requires good human skill.

Trial of Injection moulding mould

Mold Trial

Once polishing is done, our team assembles the mold and checks all parameters prior to trial. This mold trial is for the purpose of sample approval or dimension approval from customer.

Case Hardening

After successful mold trial and confirmation from customer, we harden the mold by nitriding process. Liquid, gas and plasma nitriding is used based on requirement of hardness and thickness of layer.

Final Polishing

Final policing is the completely human polishing skill. Based on requirement, we make semi finish, matt finish, mirror finish and mix of above finishes too.

Surface Protection

To prevent from corrosion, we have options of electroless plating or hard chrome on the main plates of the Mold. Thickness and hardness of the coating plays important role for mold life.

Final Trial

This is final step of assigning a Unique SKU of the product and making final production or Final Trial in our Factory. We finalize special packaging and labels as per customer's requirement and ship the products.
